## The Lore

Freaky Felines were launched to celebrate Halloween 2022 and reward active members of the NEAR community. The Freaky Feline artwork was created by [Funksteady](https://twitter.com/Funksteady_), a renowned artist in the NEAR and Solana NFT ecosystems.&#x20;

Freaky Felines were allocated to Good Fortune Feline holders, awarded for free to active contributors in the NEAR community and were available to be minted for 50,000 NEKO.&#x20;

#### The Freaky Felines NFT mint generated 81.85 million NEKO and it was all [BURNED](https://explorer.mainnet.near.org/transactions/DbCm4J4GTemcMY58hueqCbPTity6XDu9cxDiFc9Eukm8)!
